But the Colombo Municipal Council has taken it upon themselves to give their own intepretation to certain nameboards - much to the ire of vigilant residents

The authenticity of the Ramayana story is being questioned by scholars who ask if it has any relevance to the culture of this country. This is on the back of promoting it as a tourist detination for those who believe the story. What they do not understand is that tourism is nothing to do with what people really believe but what they want to experience.
